Happy Belly Food Group

A quick note for anyone who was recently looking at my portfolio holdings.

I’ve sold out of $hbfg.v Happy Belly Food Group. The stock has rocketed faster than I would have ever guessed. It was a small position and somewhat speculative. Their recent announcement of an all-stock purchase with CraveIT (Via Cibo).

I’m not a fan of the dilution and seemingly good deal for insiders. I don’t think there’s anything nefarious by any means at all, it’s just not for me. I will wish them the best.

I was able to get a very quick double out of this tiny stock and I attribute a significant portion of this to luck, but to credit myself, I was also just paying attention when the market recently ignored this business.

I will continue to watch this company and it’s stock. It could get a large pullback at some point, which could make it interesting once again.
