Q2 2022 Portfolio Update
The ups and downs
Performance and Portfolio Changes
This past quarter my portfolio has performed similar to most benchmarks. It has clocked in around -17% for the quarter and -20% for the year to date.
I recently wrote about some of the mental impact that I am still feeling from the ongoing market volatility and the temptation to change course and try a new strategy. With a changing market sentiment and shifting macro economic outlook.
I’m going to continue to focus on what I’m holding for now. I will continue to look for new opportunities but I firmly believe there are at least a few real winners in the portfolio that I could likely continue to add to over time when prices are falling in the market.
Look out for a premium post on a comparison between Alimentation Couchetard and Casey’s CASY 0.00 - two excellent performers in the convenience store industry.
